Needham Rotary Club Summer Picnic: Tuesday, June 15th at Claxton Field.
Despite torrents of rain over the preceding days and lowering skies all morning, the sun shone on Needham Rotary Club's 2021 picnic. In the photo at left above, Maddy Gerber, the winner of the Club's 2021 Scholarship, introduces herself to the club. Picked as best from a field of promising candidates, she won a four-year scholarship, aggregating $10,000. The photo at right above helps record this nice outing -one of the first without masks and in person after a year of quarantine- in our collective memories.
